Sonia was adopted by Lady Winderbier just a few days after her birth. She was then separated from Sonic and Manic and has a silver Royal Hedgehog keyboard madalion that can turn into a keyboard/gun at her own free will. Though she can sometimes be a S.A.P. (Spiny Annoying Princess), a show-off, and a VERY annoying sister, she deeply respects her brothers and worries about them in a couple of episodes.

Sonia cares a lot about fashion, almost more than anything. Her fiance, Bartleby, joined forces with Dr.Ivo Robotnik to prevent him taking away all his land and wealth. Sonia also likes Knuckles the Echidna, but she is NOT a girly-girl. She is more sane, serious, and brainier than her brothers and high-fashion.

In episode 3, Mobodoon, Manic says about Mobodoon "when the moon is full on the 2nd day of the 3rd month it'll show up like clockwork", which seems to indicate March 2nd (and thus their birthday).
