Hi to let u all know 4kids was sued amd might begoing off the air. It is true my friendtold me. they are being sued 50,000,000 dollars us (in yen i dont know) by some japense corption. In season 2 chris is 12 in season 3 hes 18. 6 years pass it shows in ep listing but in sonics world its differnt thats why he looks the same. I hate shows that dont make the charthers grow up. As for pokemon the should age ash and every one else to 17 or 19 because the trip if im right puts him and friends in that age range. Allow me to be the intelligent one here.
In many long running cartoons, especially ones in which the characters do not age, young boys are voiced by girls. If they were voiced by other young boys, then over time the boys would hit puberty and then we wind up with a man's voice coming out of a twelve-year-old. I believe they ran into this problem in FMA and that's why Alphonse's VA Aaron Desmuke is not reprising the role in Brotherhood (according to my friend, a big FMA fan) Ash from Pokemon was voiced by a girl too you know, and so are Izzy and TK of Digimon fame. Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh season 0 is voiced by a girl too!
And almost every other comment here is "Chris is a girl!" and crap like that. (Check out Angel the Hedgehog's comment). I still haven't watched the series, but you bet I'll be watching it in Japanese to wheedle out of the horrible 4Kids dub. I heard Chris was less annoying there.
