Character Description: Knuckles the Echidna
Knuckles is a wild and tough echidna. He is stubborn and doesn't adapt easily. Once he and Sonic were rivals, but their differences have been resolved. He is often jealous of Sonic's free spirit.
He is famous as a treasure hunter and a master of martial arts. His arms are so powerful that he can shatter rocks.
Ever since the big Chaos Control, Knuckles has become dedicated to finding the Chaos Emeralds so he can go back his job of guarding the Master Emerald.
Knuckles has one weakness: his gullibility. Unfortunately, this fool of an echidna can be tricked into anything. Knuckles once appeared to have a secret crush on Amy, but it was never known if she like liked him back.
The "unseen love" between Knuckles and Rouge grows in Season 3. This includes more yelling, more tricks, and working together to defeat The Metarex (one leader to be exact thanks to Cream and Shadow) The "love" is in episodes 54, 57, 73, 74, 75, 76, and 78 {I think...}.
Knuckles has to use the Master Emerald to power up the Space Ship Typhoon. At first he was to stubborn to use it, but after a serious beat down by Amy, Cream, and Cosmo and no help from Sonic, the Master Emerald had to be used.
The Emerald dies when powering up the Sonic Overdrive cannon to defeat The Metarex and save Sonic from them in episode 76. It is kind of sad... really. That Master Emerald was like the most important thing to Knuckles and his guardian days are over...
Rouge has a crush on Knuckles The Echidna, but it isn't know if he likes her as well.

I was wondering about that: What do you mean by that Knuckles's guardian days are over? Is Knuckles really that last of his kind? That he is so gullibul , how can that be his weakness? Then what's his true weakness?
