Character Description: Lily
Lily is a bird that can be seen with Amy in one of the episodes. She has a locket around her neck which contains a blue Chaos Emerald. I'm not sure if Lily is a pet or friend of Amy, of course, to some people, there is no difference between a pet and a friend.
For more information, we can look at the game rather than the anime. In a cutscene, we see that Lily fell out of the sky and was chased by Zero (or Alpha). Amy tried to help Lily and to defend her when Zero attacked them. Amy tried to protect Lily during this time period and then Lily left at the end of Amy's story. In short, Lily fell to Amy and left when she was reunited with her family Lily left the game.
