Last I checked, this character's cosplay outfit was available at Milanoo.
Just a note to start off, Crona's gender remains ambiguous throughout the series, and since writing he/she is kinda annoying, I'm just going to use the female gender pronouns, mainly since Crona is played by a Japanese female voice actress.
Crona is the only child of Medusa, the first true villain figure in the series. Medusa tortured Crona in order to create the perfect weapon. Medusa, being a witch, cut Crona off from the world and injected her with black blood (forcing Ragnarok to become part of Crona's body).
But Medusa could never really get Crona to love killing or evil. Every time Medusa tried, Crona would claim she "didn't know how to deal with it." After this, Medusa would lock Crona in a room for days at a time leaving her to be bullied by her weapon.
Finally, Crona cracked. She listened to his mother's orders until, while defending the kishin, she had a battle with Maka. Maka is the closest to her soul wavelength, so Crona opens up to Maka because Maka understands. They are now best friends and would do anything for each other.

So the argument of Crona's gender begins.... Why couldn't he/she just be Hideyoshi gendered? I personally just refer to Crona as Crona or it. By the way, in Japan, they don't use gender pronouns when talking about themselves so theres no really a Crona gender. Im tired of all this "Crona is male!" "Crona is female!" [censored]! Iv got it! The black blood of ragnorak was powerful in crona when SHE made her first appearance. Ragnorak was very masculine and maybe it was its influence making crona say "i get nervous around girls". As ragnorak got smaller, Crona became herself more and became more feminine, therefore, Crona is female.

I watched the anime first and saw Crona as a male then I read the manga and now I believe she's a girl. It's really just because in a scene it shows her almost naked and she has awsome curves and she's holding the blancket to her chest so it seems like she trying to cover 'something' up ;D Now I cant get that very female looking Crona out of mind. It's just how I see Crona though, other's will think of her as guy. ... show more »

The creator of Soul Eater is keeping Chrona's true gender a secret or they just don't know. I really suggest that people don't just go out and claim something that has no true answer. Since there is a debate, there is no right or wrong. You can think whatever you want whether Chrona is a boy or girl but don't state it as fact because it isn't right until the creator says so himself. Soo...yeah... ... show more »

Does it even matter if Crona is a boy or girl? His/her gender is classified as "other" in many places, since they have no idea what to call him/her. I bet the manga author made Crona this way for the readers to figure out for themsleves. Like, everyone worries so much about relationships right? I think they thought that the readers would worry about wether Crona is a chick or a dude. ... show more »

There are VERY, VERY subtle references in the manga stating that Crona is in fact a "he" -like in chapter 4 Soul and Maka are fighting with Crona and Ragnarok and one of them says "Trying to cut off HIS head seems futile... I don't even think "witch-hunt slash" will work or not..." and right before that Soul says "HE's going to thrust up from below!" Along with that, Crona states "...I'm...no good at talking to girls..." which gives the hint of being male. Therefore if you apply this you can deduce that Crona is a male. Don't hate me for it, first impression I believed Crona to be a female but the hints helped me in figuring out his gender. ... show more »
