Anime Description: Spider Riders

Eleven-year old Hunter Steele (13 in the Japanese version) goes in search for the subterranean world of Arachnia after the legacy left behind by his grandfather. Using his grandfather's map, he soon finds a manacle which attaches to his arm, and before too long the floor begins to crack beneath him, sending him falling through the ground.

He becomes a part of an elite group of warriors called the Spider Riders, who protect Arachnia from evil with the aid of their Spider partners. Many of them are the same age as Hunter, but all of Arachnia's hopes are placed with them as they fight off the threat of the evil Invectid.

Based on a series of classic Science Fiction novels, Spider Riders retells the stories with an anime touch.

Note: The English version reduced Hunter Steele's age from 13 years old to 11 years old.
