Yubaba is a greedy character that only wants money, and gets ticked off if she has to spend her money to fix damage that someone caused. She has a twin sister, Zeniba, that she seems to despise. Yubaba wasn't allowing Chihiro to work until her baby woke (boy, was that baby big!).
Yubaba controls her workers by stealing their names.

Yeah, Yubaba's very greedy. She only cares about two things; Gold and her baby, Boh. (When Chihiro brings Boh to see Zeniba, That's how Haku bribes Yubaba into tearing up Chihiro's work contract and returning her and her parents home to the human world.)
