Last I checked, this anime seemed to be unavailable, but you could check again at the online stores to be sure.

This movie is a mere 54 minutes long, not much eh? However, it is one the best yet obscure movies you will ever find in Anime. It is the biography of Kenji Miyazawa, but doesn't move like a documentary, instead showing him teaching his students and then giving the viewer flashbacks to his earlier days with the events that influenced his life.

Additionally, instead of just using human characters, the movie uses anthropomorphosised cats to play the various roles. There are numerous hallucination scenes in this movie, all of which Kenji hurriedly jots down in his little notebook, and this movie leaves just like that notebook: unfinished, without an apparent end. And for that, it should be treasured.
