Character Description: Victor Sagat
Sagat was known as the "King of Street Fighters" and the "Emperor of Muay Thai". In the First Street Fighter tournament, he barely lost to a kid named Ryu. Tortured by the loss, Sagat's token of the fight was the giant scar Ryu left on his chest complements of his Shoryuken (Dragon Punch). He aligns with Shadowloo and its leader M. Bison, who gave him a chance to face Ryu again and get payback for his scar.
The fist few minutes of the movie showed this famed fight all the way to the Shoryuken finish. Afterwards, Sagat was pretty much ignored. Bison wouldn't even let him fight Ryu when they found him near the end of the movie.
