Anime Profile: Tokyo Underground

Discover AnimeDragon Quest: Yuusha no AbelIn the land of Japan, there is a large town... Tokyo. Under Tokyo is a small civilization called the "Underground" where the "Elemental Users" live. They are a large group of people who can control various elements, such as fire, water, electricity, gravity, and wind. There is "The Company" (a group of thousands of Elemental User that use their powers for evil) who want to capture the Maiden of Light, Ruri Sarasa, and use her for their "plans." Ruri's bodyguard, Chelsea Rorec, is an Elemental User of gravity and a Company traitor.

Chelsea and Ruri were being chased by a Company member in the Underground. Chelsea uses her gravity power to make a hole above them for her and Ruri to escape to the surface.

Rumina Asagi and his best friend, Ginnosuke Isuzu, make their way to their first day of Senior High (high school), but soon Rumina pick a fight with an upper-classman, the bully of the school. Rumina, being the fighter he is, kicks the bully's butt, making the whole school afraid of him and his dreams of the perfect high school are shattered.

Rumina makes his way home with Ginnosuke. Ginnosuke hears a noise coming from Rumina's house and Rumina checks it out. Rumina discovers a wounded blond girl (Chelsea) and a light purple-haired girl (Ruri). Ruri begs Rumina to help her and they go out into the garden. The silence is soon disturbed by the Company member who controls fire. Chelsea, who is still not healed from using too much energy to escape from him once, is quickly trapped in a fire trap. Rumina comes forth to fight the Company member, but is killed in one strike of the member's "Fire Claws." Ruri uses her reviving power, which the Company wants, to bring Rumina back from the dead. Now with his newly found wind powers, Rumina along with Chelsea will protect Ruri from the Company. Who knows Rumina might also fall in love with Ruri...
