Anime Description: Battle Arena Toshinden

The Toshinden...an annual tournament to see who is the best. Set up by an entity known simply as "The Organization," the greatest fighters in the world fight for the title.

Each Toshinden fighter has reasons for fighting. Some seek answers. Others seek themselves. Outside the Toshinden tournament, they may even be friends, but once the fight begins, each will fight for his or her life, without restraints or regrets.

This time, however, events are unfolding that are bringing the fighters together. Someone is wreaking havoc and taking out each Toshinden fighter one by one. Could it be Sho, Eiji's long-lost brother? Is it a move by the Organization? Does it have anything to do with Gaia?

Based on the namesake 3-D fighting game and brought to animation by Masami Obari, renowned for his action titles, Battle Arena Toshinden is another addition to the growing number of fighting-game-based titles that include Street Fighter II V, Art of Fighting, and Fatal Fury (another by Masami Obari).
