Character Description: Hugue de Watteau
Father de Watteau is not seen in the episodes very much. He travels without letting the other Vatican and AX members know where he went or when he will be back.
He has a certain hate for vampires, and can go on killing sprees to kill every vampire he sees. His reason for hating vampires is the fact that they massacred his family and kidnapped his sister. This is stated in first novel in the series Rage Against the Moon in the chapter Sword Dancer. While Hugue is interrogating Carl van der Verf, Hugue shouts, "Which vampire killed the parents, sliced off the son's arms, and kidnapped the daughter?! Who killed everyone and took my sister Anies?!"
Just like Tres, Hugue isn't very talkative. The scars on his body make it clear that he has been through a lot of pain.
