Hakuoro is a person without a past. He wakes up injured and in the care of a grandmother and her family. Stuck with an unremovable mask on his face (which yields terrifying visions) and a bad case of amnesia, he is taken into their care and is raised as a member of their village.
However, this village lives under the oppressive thumb of a corrupt Emperor. Hakuoro leads a rebellion against the emperor, which in turn leads him on the path to becoming the new ruler of the nation, which he names Tuskuru. However, Tuskuru gains more and more enemies, and the price of peace becomes heavier with each battle. In the midst of this chaos, Hakuoro's hidden past will soon come back to haunt him as well....

I found about this Anime when I was vacationing in the Philippines. It was a pretty good Tagalog dubbed.

I am in love with Oboro, Benawi, his helper, the man from episode 20 with silver hair, Derihouri (Karula's younger brother from episodes 18 & 19), and Hakuoro.
