Anime Description: Vampire Hunter D
It is over 10,000 years into the distant future, an age where mystic fantasy and high-tech science fiction coincide. Cyborg horses and mist monsters both exist, and crucifixes and ancient wards prove just as useful as high-tech weapons. Within this world, the vampires have become among the most powerful, and the oldest, like Count Magnus Lee, are so powerful that they have few if any fears, and they find themselves easing their boredom in assorted ways, such as taking human girls as brides.
Doris finds herself in such a situation. Chosen by Magnus Lee, she and her brother Dan intend to fight, and they soon have help, in the form of a very mysterious but obviously very skilled vampire hunter, known only as D. They have few friends and many enemies, only their courage and D's skills and secrets to help them. Can they truly stop Magnus Lee and return tranquility to this dark place?
