Character Description: Doris Lang
A little more than the traditional Damsel in Distress, Doris can use a whip very well. She asks D's help when she is bitten by Count Magnus Lee. Doris explains that D must kill destroy the count before he comes to claim her as his bride. Later in the story, Doris falls in love with D and at the end of the story she is very sad when he leaves. D saves her from countless perils, but she is too shy (or too afraid) to tell him of her true feelings.
