Apparently being the daughter of a count isn't as easy at it would seem. Lamika feels a great deal of pride for her family's name and does not delight in watching her father destroy it. She considers his actions foolish and insulting to their noble background. Lamika's most striking characteristic is the burning pride she feels for her family's name. At the end of the story the extent of her pride becomes very clear.
Note: In the Streamline dubbed version and Urban Vision's subtitled version, Dhampir was misstranslated as Dampiel. In Urban Vision's new movie, Dhampir was this time misstranslated as Dunpeal.
