Zero's family was attack by a pureblood vampire named Shizuka Hio four years ago. Zero was bitten by Shizuka, which made him slowly transform into a former human vampire. Zero's parents were Vampire Hunters, and they were killed by Shizuka. Zero suffered for years, and slowly transformed into a vampire. He hates vampires and he wants to get his revenge on Shizuka Hio.

And he deserves to be loved by Yuki and to be with her. They suit each other better then anyone else in their life.
