Character Profile: Takuya Inoue

Chisato's older brother, Takuya had been having some problems of an unrevealed nature, so he went away. Eventually, he came upon a wild bird sanctuary, where he noticed a bird perched on a bare tree branch. This was no ordinary bird. In fact, it was a shinma who revealed to Takuya that he, too, was a shinma of the bird tribe, whose purpose was to kill the Guardian: Miyu. He was then given a tattoo of a bird of prey on his lower back.

Takuya had returned to Chisato's home just to get to Miyu, to challenge her in combat. It was then that he revealed to Miyu and Larva the true nature of his tattoo, which transformed him into the shinma Hiyoku. Miyu had managed to use her flame to defeat Hiyoku, causing him to change back to Takuya, who perished by the flame.

Unknown to Miyu and Larva, prior to the battle, Takuya had left behind a strange blade to his sister Chisato....
