Jura is a dread pilot and takes command in the rare event of Meia's absence. She is often shown as being very superficial and vain. She is also very selfish, and becomes jealous when she is not the center of attention. However, she later begins to show she is a valuable comrade and a friend. After the loss of Gascongue in the second stage, she becomes a lot more mature and dependable.

Jura's dread combines with Hibiki's vanguard to make the Red Claw vandread. This vandread is capable of putting a barrier around an entire planet, and is very useful if the Nirvana and the other dreads need shielding. Jura is also able to use a sword or a sabor.
