Based on SEGA's hit fighting game series, Virtua Fighter follows the many adventures of martial artist Akira Yuki. He is on a quest to gain the source of true strength through a series of mystical constellations. In his quest he meets and fights several other martial artists with their own hopes and dreams. However, a shadowy international conspiracy arises, with the ultimate goal of creating the "perfect soldier." Akira teams up with other fighters in order to ultimately take down this deadly conspiracy.
