Smaller of the quintet, Pidge was always trying to prove he was just as big a man as any of those on the team. He was the faster and more agile member of the team often showing his acrobatics when he got excited. Pidge became a good friend the castle mice.
Pidge's home planet was destroyed by the forces of Doom. In the Japanese version, the planet was Earth, but in the US version it was called planet Balto.

I think the american version should have left the nuclear war in and kept Pidges home planet as Earth, not Balto destroyed by war as when this anime was published nuclear war was a big threat.
