Raimundo is a Brazilian born in Rio De Jeneiro and was part of a traveling circus where he was an acrobat. He is the Dragon of Wind and as such has aerokinetic abilities. His favorite Shen Gong Wu is the Sword of the Storm and, when combined with the Eye of Dashi, enables him to fly at lightning speed and cause wind related mayhem. He is the comedian of the group and has a crush on Kimiko Tohomiko. Raimundo is the first Dragon to challenge an enemy (Tubbimura) to a Shen Yi Bu Dare (which is where you bet more than one Shen Gong Wu in a Xiaolin Showdown). When Mala Mala Jong rose, Raimundo went to help the Xiaolin Temple against Fung's wishes.

When he didn't get to rise to the rank of Xiaolin Apprentice, he turned on the monks and returned Wuya to her human form. When his friends were in danger, he betrayed Wuya and sent her back into another puzzle box. He eventually reached Xiaolin Apprentice when he defeated the evil crime boss, Pandabubba. When the Dragons reached the Wudai level, he gained the ability of flight (without the need for the Sword of the storm/Eye of Dashi combo).

In "Time After Time Part Two," Raimundo reached the rank of Shoku Warrior, which made him the leader of the monks. After being made Shoku Warrior, Kimiko hugged him and kissed him. Omi was upset that he didn't become Shoku Warrior, but accepted this with a smile. When almost every villain they faced showed up at the Xiaolin Temple, Master Fung told him that now that he was Shoku Warrior, his duties were just beginning.

Raimundo's fighting style is based on Capoeira.
