Character Description: Shizuka Doumeki
Doumeki is the opposite of Watanuki. He does not see spirits but wards them off. If Yuuko happens to need to send Watanuki somewhere where dangerous spirits may be, she sends Doumeki with him.
At one point, Doumeki makes a spider demon mad and it makes his left eye blind. Watanuki transfers that to his eye and Doumeki thinks that he does not deserve it and gives part of his eye to Watanuki so he can see. That is why Watanuki has two different colored eyes.
If someone else can see spirits, then Doumeki believes they're real, even though he can't see them.

Supposedly he doesn't show too much of his emotions because when he was a kid his grandfather, Haruka, usually dressed him as a girl, following an ancient Japanese shinto custom that ties to make weak boys become strong men by forcing them to overcome this public humiliation by either becoming aggressive or emotionless, it worked, so nowdays he shows little or no feelings at all, but it doesn't mean he doesn't care about things or that he doesn't feel, he just does not show it. ... show more »

I think he is really cool :3 I luv his care free attitude. although I wonder why he doesnt show much emotions...?
