Character Description: Slifer the Sky Dragon
Slifer is one of the three legendary 'Egyptian God Cards'. Maximillion Pegasus created the cards after researching hieroglyphics of the Egyptian Gods.
An extremely powerful 'Divine Beast' card, Slifer was once in the possession of Marik. Marik gave it to one of his servants, Strings ('The Quiet One'), in order to defeat Yugi and take his Millenium Puzzle. Instead, The Quiet One was defeated, and Slifer is now in Yugi's possession. He's very careful with the card, and has used it only once in Round 1 of the Battle City Finals.
Slifer gains its power from how many cards you have in your hand, so Slifer is powerful when you have lots of cards in your hand. Also, when the opponent summons a monster, Slifer's second mouth will attack and the opposing monster will lose 2000 ATK or DFC points depending on what position it is in.
