Sakyo has got long hair, eyes that shift in color, a bad attitude, and he smokes and gambles. But Sayko started out living a plain life, though he despised his own family. As a young boy he found a thrill in death, killing harmless animals (pulling the wings off of flies, breaking puppies legs, running cats over with his bike). When he took a job at a pet shop, he cut out the hearts of animals just to see how long they would live. Then he got older, and found a thrill in gambling when there were lives on the line. And he made a fortune in it.
Sayko is most seen in the Dark Tournament as the manager of Team Toguro. He develops feelings for Shizuru Kuwabara. Before the Yusuke/Toguro match, Sakyo proposed a bet that the manager of the losing team dies, and Koenma accepted. When Yusuke won, Sayko activates the stadium's self-destruct system and remained as it collapsed. He wanted to use the prize money from winning to complete his two-way gateway from the Human World to the Demon World. But as he is to die, he wanted to make sure no one could continue his research.

definitely sakyo/shizuru will be together in there nxt life... that's why i get addicted to this series bec.. of its concept and o this two characters ...,,,,there should be another season of yu yu hakusho hahah...

hi im also a big fun of this character because he is mysterious , very manly , cooled feeling persn you don't know what he really thinks back of his head what his plans... he his definitely freaking wierd try new extremes isn't it cool that's why i like this chara.. very evil.. hahah .... he always compre to karasu bec... they have the same qualities love to see the suffering of others...but for me sakyo is much better than karasu bec... he has a gentle side... i am also a supporter of sakyo shizuru luvteam i hope there some more Mv videos about them and more fun arts i love this couple ..frvr if ever sakyo die earlier in the series i hope sakyo/shizuru will be together in there nxt life ... show more »

Sakyo may be the owner of a demon team, but he's a bit weird to me. Personally, he shouldn't have gotten himself mixed up with demobns. He should've stayed with with the rivers and lakes he was used to!

I really love Sayko. i agree that the Black Black Club were idiots on killing poor innoccent demons. And I don't blame Sensui for going over the edge like that. I mean who wouldn't? But Sayko did show Shizuru deep emotions enogh to try to make him go down with the Stadium.
