Character Description: Seiryu
Seiryu is the third Saint Beast that Yusuke and the gang face. He has the ability to lower air temperatures, which provides him with an arsenal of ice attacks. After the gang defeated Byakko, Seiryu finished him off by freezing him with an Ice Dragon attack and then punching him, smashing the frozen Byakko into pieces.
It was Hiei who took on Seiryu, and defeated him quickly. Seiryu was no match for Hiei's lightning-fast speed, and so Hiei was able to slice him through him eighteen times before anyone could blink an eye.

i believe this fight was a bit to short. it does suit hiei to finish off his opponent at a lightning fast speed and show no mercy, but than you do not get to see this particular beasts true power.

If I do remember correctly, in the Shonen Jump manga, it took two pages to draw the picture of Hiei running past him with his sword-thus cutting up Seiryu. And, Kuwabara didn't get to see any cuts. Kurama saw four, Yusuke saw eight. So, yeah, some people COULD see part of that whole slicing thing.
