Description: Akazukin Cha-Cha
Akazukin Cha-Cha is the story of a young witch-- around fourth grade-- who lives atop a mountain called Mochi-Mochi Mountain with her mentor and 'father' of sorts, Seravi. Her close friends are Shiine, an exceptional wizard-in-training, and Leah, a boy with the ability to turn into a white wolf, and they are constantly vying for her affections. Her other acquaintances, Blackhooded Yakko, Orin, and Marin, attend the same school that she herself does, Urara's School (literal translation from the Japanese name for the school). There, they learn to cast spells, conjure up potions, and survive their eccentric professors just in time to come home for dinner.
In the manga version, Cha-Cha and her friends are only young people learning magic at Urara's School, but in the anime, Shiine, Leah, and Cha-Cha each possess a magical item that allows Cha-Cha to transform into the magical princess Holy-Up. Holy-Up is an older version of Cha-Cha, who appears to be around 15 - 16 years old. She constantly battles against the dark minions of Daimaoh, a demon king whose past is intertwined with that of the Cha-Cha and even Seravi. Of course, there is still much room for the humor that's a hallmark of this series.
