Description: Area 88
Hidden deep in the Desert plains of the Middle Eastern Kingdom of Asran lies the remote airbase known as Area 88. A base that houses a group of mercenary Jet Fighter pilots who take any job to eliminate the country's enemies.
Among their ranks is the reluctant Shin Kazama, a former airline pilot who was tricked into signing a contract with Area 88 by his former best friend. Wrecking his career and his plans to marry his fiancΓ©, Ryoko Tsugumo. His only ways out is to serve for three years, earn $1.5 million, or risk death by trying to escape.
Visiting the base is photographer Makoto Shinju, who is there to document the activities of the Area 88 pilots.
