Description: Astro Boy (1980)
This is a color remake of Astro Boy that debuted in Japan in 1980.
Dr. Boynton (Tenma) created a robot after the loss of his son Toby (Tobio) in a horrible accident. Modeled to look and act just like him, he hoped to fill in the void that his son left behind. However, realizing that a robot could never replace his son, he discarded his invention by giving it to a circus in America. However, it is here that Astro is found by the kindly robot scientist Dr. Ochanomizu, and give a new name and identity.
From that day on, he was known as Astro Boy. A powerful robot fighting for the peace of both robots and humans alike!
