Character Profile: Maya Jingu

She's calm, soft-spoken and reasonable... basically, the one to be careful of. Maya Jingu is the Warriors' firearms specialist, mostly in sniper tactics. Originally an orphan from a war, Maya was raised by a mercenary who had taught the young girl how to shoot a gun, until she had gotten so good at it, he felt it necessary to leave her. Maya then worked as a bounty hunter in Tokyo until she was approached by the Warriors' commander to be part of the team.

Sometimes it's hard to realize that Maya is so into guns. She has a fondness for collecting small plastic toys, and dresses in Western clothes while off-duty. Of course, when in her apartment, a visitor is usually surprised when opening the refrigerator and finding a teddy bear holding an automatic pistol. She even collects automatic pistols and gives them names, such as one gives names to their favorite toys.

Maya also is known for bluntly speaking her mind, mostly about Rio Kinezono's inept attempts at finding love. But because of this, she is also at the receiving end of Rio's painful noogies or chokeholds.
