Character Profile: Piedmon

During the time the Digidestined were fighting Myotismon at Tokyo, the DarkMasters took over the DigitalWorld and warped it into Spiral Mountain, with Piedmon ruling over the wasteland. Piedmon is most powerful and sadistic of the DarkMasters. Being a Digimon of darkness, Piedmon is almost as ruthless in battle as he is at playing dirty with his magic tricks.

By his pierrot (French clown) appearance and nature, Piedmon had a passion for the threater and wanted to find a decent opponent to battle. In fact, during their first meeting, Piedmon easily defeated WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon due to a difference of experience. While his fellow DarkMasters had their chances, Piedmon watched from his observsatory fortress.

Once Machinedramon was destroyed, Piedmon send Ladydevimon to attack and then decided to settle things himself. Piedmon almost killed WarGreymon until Matt showed up with MetalGarurumon for a rematch. This time, the two mega Digimon were too powerful to deal with as a team, so Piedmon uses a cloth to turn them and their partners into Keychain dolls.

Piedmon then began a 'sick cat and mouse' game with the DigiDestined at his obersatory fortess, turning them and their Digimon into keychains, one by one. Only TK, Kari, and Patamon are left. Patamon tried to fight Piedmon as Anbgemon, but was overwhelmed. But when the two kids were pummeling to certain death, until Angemon became MagnaAngemon and save the kids, before defeating Piedmon (who was furious about it). After MagnaAngemon turns the other kids back to normal, Piedmon strikes back with an army of Vilemon that were easily defeated by Mimi's army of Digi-friends. MagnaAngemon uses his Gate of Destiny, with WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon double-teaming, to finish Piedmon off.

Piedmon is the most powerful of the dark masters. He is very evil and enjoys tormenting others like a game. When facing the Digdestined, he turns them and their Digimon into keychains. Only TK, Kari, and Patamon are left. When Piedmon nearly kills TK and Kari, Patamon digivolves to MagnaAngemon and defeats the wicked clown. After MagnaAngemon turns the other kids back to normal, Piedmon strikes back with an army of Vilemon. But MagnaAngemon seals Piedmon and his troops inside his gate of destiny.
