Character Profile: Launch

Goku and Krillin first encounter Launch when they were beginning their training under Master Roshi. They bring her back to Master Roshi as a prerequisite for beginning their training, and she thereafter becomes part of the gang.

Everyone soon learned her little secret. There are two sides to Launch. One is her "yin" side, where she's a peaceful, sweet, and affectionate (if somewhat dim-bulbed) woman who makes good rice but sometimes can't be trusted with other things in the kitchen. She's quite the innocent thing and is almost always smiling. But every time she sneezes in her "yin" form, she changes into her "yang" form, a loud-mouthed machine-gun-toting tigress who never hesitates to tell you just how much she hates you (usually with lead). This side of Launch is rough, tough, and always itching for a fight. If you ever get on her wrong side, either run for cover or pray she sneezes again and changes back.

The purple haired Launch is the nice, soft spoken girl that Master Roshi is so fond of. Actually, she came to live at the Kame House to hide from the police. She's the loving, caring side of Launch that everyone likes to be around. She's also a good cook.

But the blonde haired Launch that the nice Launch turns into when she sneezes is incredibly scary and strong. The blonde Launch is a wanted thief who always seems to have a machine gun with her, and she's not afraid to use it! After a while, the evil Launch befriends the other Launch's friends. (Both Launches don't remember what is going on when the other Launch surfaces.)

The evil Launch is in love with Tien Shinhan.
