Characters: Ergo Proxy
Description: Ergo Proxy
Ergo Proxy takes place in a world where humans and androids (known as Autoreivs) coexist in peace. There also exists a city called "Romdeau." In this apparent utopia, the citizens are under the influence of complete management control, where feelings are abandoned and the governing council completely dictates the lives of all its citizens.
However, this way of life is interrupted by a mysterious series of murders apparently caused by robots infected with a deadly virus, which calls the attention of Re-l Mayar, an inspector from the Citizen Information Bureau and her Autoreiv partner Iggy. As they dig further into the mystery, what they discover will not only unravel the truth of Romdeau, but also with a mysterious life form known as Proxy, which will hold the key to humanity's survival.
