Character Profile: Rufus Shinra

Rufus became the president of Shinra after his father passed away. In Crisis Core Rufus (when his father died) got into an exposition explaining why in Advent children he is in a wheel chair with a cloak. Later in the movie he removes his cloak and has bandages covering his body. Rufus earlier in the Advent Children movie had the geostigma, a disease that quickly spreads around the town, along with Cloud, Denzel, and others. At the end of the movie he is healed by the life stream (I think) and the rain when Cloud kills Kadaj.

In the movie, Rufus (though you don't know until the end) was hiding "mother" from the three remnants of Sephiroth: Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo.

Mother appeared to be an odd green liquid which I think was called Jenova. This makes Rufus seem like a liar as all along he told Kadaj (the leader of the gang) he had no idea where his "mother" was. "A good son would know" is what Rufus told Kadaj removing the cloak and throwing "mother" off the top of the building that they were standing on.
