Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (mecha, Gainax!)
Great Teacher Onizuka (crazy laughs)
Ouran Host High Club (totally awesome, laughs and lovely characters)
Seto No Hanayome (2007's most comedic serie)
Lucky*Star ( :hail: otaku paradise)
Gungrave (action and a story beyond any imagination)
Kare Kano (best love comedy ever... Gainax)
Death Note (needless to say more)
Pani Poni Dash (if you're into japanese nonsense 100%)
Amaenaideyo (fun and religion all in one - ecchi is the way!)

Just to name a few. If nothing sounds good, just tell - there's plenty of other series to watch!

It's hard to reccomend an anime without knowing what kind of anime you like..or what you've already seen...

Anyway, I love FMA, Rozen Maiden, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni... a lot XDD
