kenshin isn't voiced by a little kid. (jap version) It is a woman who plays him and she is about 2 times as old as me. Watsuki said in the first volume of Ruroken that there was a similar samurai in the olden days who was very small and womanly so perhaps that was what the japanese version was going...

Retasu is actaully just the way the japanese pronounce Lettuce. They dont pronounce the letter "l" as we do. They pronounce the "l" as an more of an R sound. l and r are pronounced the same. lettuce name is really lettuce. they just pronounce differently then we do.

Well Japanese female voices in animes are usually high. That's just how that part of the world is. (no offense) Why didn't another dubbing company beat 4kids? WHY WHY WHY!?????? And if you check the back of the books you'll see the age that the manga was made for right? Well on TMM some of the book...

TMM is complete from the season opening to the season finale (anime).

Now TMM a la mode is the real ending in the manga, if you haven't read that yet.
