I don't think Kagome's mom name is every said. In the credits its just Kagome's mom. As for Kagmome's birthday you would have to check the first episode of Inuyasha. I don't remember if its said but the first episode starts on Kagome's birthday.

The Sci-Fi Channel will start a block of anime on Mondays starting June 11. June 11 - Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society June 18 and 25 - Noein, Tokko, Macross Plus Can't wait to see the Ghost in the Shell movie. It sounds great. Does anyone know anything about Tokko? I've heard of the other two.

You can start watching it on the Cartoon Network. They restarted the show from the beginning. I think they are on episode 4 or 5. The show looks like it has some good action in the later episodes.
