Re: Haiku/Haikai
No, I believe your second line made 7 syllables if you put 'Ip' together. Two letters make a sort of hiccup sound, so it's not really 8 that you think it is. I've written haikus and tankas (5-7-5-7-7) in English, but I've never attempted to do it in Japanese (strangely). I'll just make a quick haiku...

Re: Time for a Japanese lesson, 行くぞ!
Some stuffs in the beginning that are a little... Atashiwa no namai wa hanne desu!! yorushkun onegai shimasu!! Atashi wa no namae wa Hanne desu!! Yoroshiku onegai shimasu!! My apologizes. It's suppose to be "Atashi no namae wa Hanne desu". I accidently kept that extra "wa" sente...

Re: Time for a Japanese lesson, 行くぞ!
To the shortening of Japanese words, I have say "N.O.". Seriously. It's fine to use it between friends (but also with the accurate word at the beginning so they know you're shortening it and it's not the actual word), but please don't use it anywhere else, especially when you're talking to...

Some stuffs in the beginning that are a little... Atashiwa no namai wa hanne desu!! yorushkun onegai shimasu!! Atashi wa no namae wa Hanne desu!! Yoroshiku onegai shimasu!! Also the emphasisms were stuck together with the words along with sentence particles and it might confuse people, so here's the...

Re: My Moderator Application: Shikikami
It's just me, actually. Other people have different opinions and images of what a Mod should be. Sometimes new users here that are applying don't bother none, and sometimes it does. It depends. For me, I don't really mind, just as long as I'm convinced, in which you did. Take your time. We have time...

Re: naruto n cowboy bebop
Um...why does this matter, actually? :| (And why is this in the Manga section...??) Just because they look the same doesn't mean that they're copying each other intentionally. So the angles and moves are identical. No offense, but that doesn't really mean anything. Spike uses martial arts in the way...

Re: My Moderator Application: Shikikami
Thanks for revising this, and it is very much greatly improved and well-done. One of the best applications I've seen yet. I trust that you're not an amateur at this thing, and you have supporting reasons. The only thing about you being new is that you have to know how this site works. Just looking a...

Re: Inuyasha's real name PLEASE!
i have heard in a number of different places that his name literally means Dog demon of the forest. but then again, who knows. Sesshoumaru has like two different spellings and a thousand meanings. LOL. you never know. even Youkai doesn't have a direct definition, because the english language doesnt...

Re: CONFUSION! PLEASE HELP!
Currently as I know since the last time I've heard, Naruto is in on the Chuunin Exams right now around the 50th or more episode since I think Naruto just squared off with Neji. If you've only seen episode 1-18 in the correct order, then No. Sasuke isn't dead. Haku just made it appear that he killed ...

Re: Inuyasha's real name PLEASE!
Yes, the "yasha" is, at times, "female demon", but Rumiko Takahashi aimed for it to just mean "demon".

Oh dear... Good morning = ohayoo gozaimasu Good night = oyasuminasai Those were greetings ^ Peace = heiwa Eyes = me ( yaki tamago is pretty much "fried eggs") Beautiful = kirei ( na makes it an adjective for "pretty", or "beautiful" if you will) Those were pretty much s...

Alright. If you say that you will take the time to be a good mod, why won't you take the time use proper grammer? We all make mistake myself included, but then there are those of you who don't even try. opmg i think th is so pathetic all of the applicants have a choice if they like to speak a sorte...

Re: Thumbelina Anime?
Ah, wait...I think the Thumbelina version we're getting at is different than the Sekai Meisaku Dowa: Oyayubi Hime . The picture on animenewsnetwork.com is different. Actually, it was hard for me to find, too. The Thumbelina version we're talking about was distributed by Starmaker Entertainment, Inc....
