Re: 1st gig or 2nd gig

I preferred the 1st one. The laughing man was simply awesome, and the whole story was greatly managed.
The 2nd gig is awesome too but, to me, a little bit under the 1st one.

Re: Which one?

Seen the 2 series and the 3 movies.

First movie is above everything, it's a masterpiece. It is closely followed by the 1st serie.
The only thing I didn't really like was the 2nd movie... but the rest is awesome. One of my all-time favourites: action and philosophy together, can't be easily beaten.

Re: Time for a Japanese lesson, 行くぞ!

yeah but its a diff mater if u have a instructor rather than trusting ur self . Indeed, but better than nothing. @winx_rose: I strongly suggest the "teach yourself japanese" book + CD: they're really easy and well done. I'm learning quite a lot from it, at least to know the basis and then move on t...

Re: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

Seen, and I agree with your review. At least, the first part. I simply found it awesome. I started watching it at 03.00 AM and I had to stop because he gave me chills, and that's a big plus. The story is wicked, and the "restarts" made me think that it was a "many episodes" serie: when I saw the las...

Re: Time for a Japanese lesson, 行くぞ!

Even if there are no classes where you live (that's the situation where I am), there are good books and CDs to learn at least japanese basics. It's not the same thing, but better than nothing :) P.s.: japanese pronounce is quite easy to me: it's only necessary to learn how to correctly say "a e i o ...

Re: Romantic Comedy Help!

Romantic comedy?

Lovely Complex

I laughed sooo hard, and the sentimental part is well-thought, without all those stupid misunderstandings that make every love anime similar.
A real gem, imho.

Re: Anime

I have seen it, and I've found it quite terrible. As some people said, designs are great, really great. At first I was amazed by this anime... but then I found the story fall apart, characters behave in a stupid way and such: they had such a wonderful background and they threw it away with a stupid ...

Re: Rozen Maiden

Good anime, I've seen the two series it quite a bit of time ago. The idea is original, and that's what I liked the most: fights are nice too, and graphic-wise there's nothing to complain.

Best char? I guess the two sisters, but mainly Souseiseki.

Seirei No Moribito sequel?

I noticed that "Seirei No Moribito" has its story taken from a classic japanese novel. These story is part of a set of 9 "Guardian" stories. I wonder... anyone knows if they're going to do the anime taken from the others too? I really liked this anime, and I'd like to view more :) If you have any in...

Re: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

I wasn't impressed. I didn't find anything terribly interesting about it, let alone anything good enough to justify the general fanbase's retardation. It's just a jamboree of random copypasta and possibly one of the only series that I find less appealing than Bleach Haruhiism is what truly bugs me....

Re: Has Anyone seen Onegai Teacher(please Teacher)?

It's not bad, it' funny here and there, but I have a "already seen" sensation for every gag they do. I don't mind ecchi anime, but when I see gags that I've seen thousand of times in others anime, and situations that already occured in thousand of previous series, it becomes a bit boring. I think th...

Re: Top 3 most evil villains in anime/manga?

1. Diobrando, from Jojo. He's the perfect villain: he has a strong and awesome weapon, he uses it everytime he can, and he likes to win while mocking his foe. Most villains keep the "powerful weapon" only for a last encounter, but he doesn't do a similar error! 2. Light, from Death Note: he's the ma...
