"Who are you calling a mut, jerkwad?" Xavier shouted, "I don't care if you are a kid, you have the heart of an evil beast."

"And I could rip your throat out if I wanted." Xavier scowled back, his wolfen hunting insticts kicking in.

Xavier put Makoto next to a nearby tree, his face covered in in a shadow. When he looked up, the anger in his eyes could not be comprehended, crowded only by his tears. The air around him began to swirl when a burst of power came from around him, electricity shooting about his being as whips of flam...

Xavier grabbed Makoto before she hit the ground, not knowing what to do.
"Stop making her feel such pain... it's not right." Xavier said, his voice turning shaky, almost driven to tears.

Xavier pulls away from the girl trying to drag him off, his eyes emblazened with passion as he threw the shadow down to the ground hard.
"Stop doing that! She didn't do anything to deserve it!" he roared.

"Stop that!" Xavier said, grabbing the young shadow and holding a ball of fire to it's neck. "Stop doing that or I'll destroy this shadow being!"

"It was delicious." Xavier smiled before turning to Shino.
"I already dealt with you today," he told Shino, "and I'm tired of what you and your shadows have done. I don't care if it is a kid, you should teach it right."

"Get off of me you idiot shadow." Xavier said, peeling the shadow off him.

Xavier looked at the girl and then to Makoto, giving her a look as if to ask "who is this?"
"Uhh... hi. I'm assuming you are the one who made this sandwich?" he asked the girl.

"A... waterbottle, too? Weird." Xavier said, shrugging and drinking a bit of the water before taking another bite of the sandwich.

"A... sandwich?" Xavier asked, looking down at the gargatuan sandwich. He looked around to see where it came from but could only smell the distant scent of someone else. He looked at Makoto and shrugged, taking a bite of the sandwich. "It's delicious!" he smiled, a few crumbs alo...

"I could go for a rest as well. It's been a long day." Xavier said, rubbing his injured stomach.

Xavier flashed a smile of his own, giving him an older, wiser look. After a moment like this, he tightened his grip on her hand and turned round.
"Where's that cat of yours, I was sure she'd rake my eyes out when she saw me grab your hand." he laughed.

"Yeah, well, it's not that fun for me. The fur on my tail gets all matted up." Xavier smiled, pointing to his bushy wolfen tail.

"Nah, let's save all my troubles for a rainy day." Xavier smiled, placing his hand on the one she placed on his shoulder.

"The whole reason I'm here today is because I have nowhere else to go. People have judged me all my life for my being a half-demon. I was banished from a village before I could even talk, and had to live my life alone, living off stray squirrels and apples, and an occasional bison. I had no one...
