I'm pretty sure that Frieza was male, although I dont rule out the possibility of him being genderless like Piccolo. But if anything, I do believe he leans more towards male than female, just as I do with Piccolo (a lot more in the latter's case however)

I've seen Dragon Ball up until episode 3 and thats it. Although I am reading the manga currently (I'd rather do that first for now) and have gotten far past what I saw in the series, right now I am going to have to say Dragon Ball Z

Well, I think that Shinji would actually be pretty compatible with either Rie or Asuka, but personally, I would rather see him with Asuka. Her relationship with Shinji would appeal to me more sine they have that initial reluctance
