Ronin Warriors

Alright, I've got a question for everyone here. Me and my friend are in an argument as of the moment on this particular show. One is stating that Ronin Warriors or Yoroiden Samurai Torupa is a Japanese Cartoon, I say it's an Anime. Can anyone provide more details to support either side?

ok, well. Japanese cartoon and anime is the same thing. "Anime" means cartoon in japanese. And english speakers usually use the word anime to refer to japanese cartoons when Japanese people actually use it referring to foreign cartoons and not their own. but yea, the ronin warriors are both.
