action? Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Black Lagoon. Horror? Monster. Samurai? Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai Champloo. Mecha? Any Gundam. Big O, Giant Robo. Drama? Meh. not very many good dramas that arent slice of life. Go watch Welcome to the NHK, then watch NANA.

I've been watching Blood+ on Netflix but they don't have a lot of anime to watch and plus you have to have a Netflix account to watch them =/
