1)which is your favorite?
2)which is superior and why?

my fav is: The Archangel
more superior: i would say the Archangel is far superior because it was built for combat in both space and on earth where the Minerva was built for and specializes in space combat.

...minerva does work in the air though... the only thign is the Archangel has the buy alot of it and it wins factor

Where's the Kusanagi, Girty Lue, Agamemnon, Eternal, and Gondawa? I hardly call this a favorite ships thread. ^^;

Minerva; because it's designed like a real warship, well as far as SEED goes in designing real world ships. Firing ranges > Hotsprings when it comes to being combat ready. It's also possibly more energy efficient with it's Shell firing guns over the power hogs that are the Gottfrieds.

Archangel might make a nice cruise ship with guns, but if you want something that can fall into military standards; Minerva is where it's at.

Well the Archangel is far superior to the Minerva and the show proves it, The Minerva loses to the Archangel every time except for 1.

The weapons are almost identical except the Archangel has 2 positron cannons, Minerva has only 1. What makes the difference is that Minerva was specifically designed for space combat (as said in the show) and is not as maneuverable within the earths gravity. The Archangel on the other hand is an all-purpose battleship, it excels in all areas of combat including underwater (in destiny, not in seed)

true Aoi it is armed better and is equipped for all types of places
