Uhm...My favourite one is Arael, the XV Angel...the one who is in orbit upon Neo Tokyo 3, the lord of the Winds, of the Earth and of Jerusalem (according to the Qabbalah).
I like its psychical attack on the poor Asuka and the death by the Lancea Longini scene is simply wonderfull...

Even Sachiel, the III, is not bad (and Adam too, of course).

17th Angel: Kaworu Nagisa... just look at the avatar. The voice actor did a great job for Kaworu Nagisa... or at least I think so.

i liked Ireul (the one that infiltrated nerv by computer) in truth, i like Ireul the angel in NGE, but the reason i like him most is because in religous veiws, Ireul is the angel of Fear

I liked the Angel that had it's black and white shadow in the sky, and the angel itself was the black shadow below the sphere. It was by-far the wierdest angel. And the wierdest part was that the dirac sea inside of it was actually in it's shadow (When Shinji burst out of it). still one of my favorite Evangelion Episodes.

Rei doesn't really count, she isn't a straight-up Angel. Kaworu only counts because...well, he did what the Angels do - tried to kill people and cause the Third Impact...
