So, has Kakashi ever pulled that mask down so we can see what he really looks like?

no....not really. He has but there's always sumthin in the way so basically we have NO idea wat he lukz lik. I hope 1 day he duz tho cuz i bet he's super-deluxe hwat!

I'm more curious to know why he wears a mask ALL the time. Is he hideously scarred or does he just figure it'd look cool?

Thats a good question, I have wondered that myself.

Hey thats somehting to think about. It sounds intriguing. Not sure if thats the case, but it would be something if it was. Kakashi the wise, well-respected, trusting teacher, a wicked spy for Orochimaru thats going to kill Naruto one day. That would make a good story, it would shock the audience.
Well, maybe someday we will see Kakashi's face.

Yeah I more interested in why he wears the mask than what's actually behind it. I mean I don't know why Sakura and Naruto make such a big fuss about it, they could have found it out long ago by themselves, you know how?

By making a henge no jutsu (transformation tehnique) into Kakashi. I mean when you transorm into somebody, your whole body changes, right? So one of them could've done that and pulled the mask off

Or they could have pulled off the mask while Kakashi's sleeping, thats what I'd do.

I still think my version is easier. Kakashi is one of the top ninja. I bet he doesn't let his guard down even when he's asleep so they'd prolly be caught.

That is true. But even the most experianced person can be caught off guard in their sleep. Depending on how much of a deep sleep you are in, anyone can do anything to you, (even put shaving cream on your face). When your in the second stage of sleep, the body becomes paralyzed, this is done to protect the body from sudden movements that could injure the body. During this time, you are at your weakest. The sleeper is unaware of nothing and can do nothing. I learned this in High School psychology class. So, yes even a ninja can be succumbed if they are in a deep sleep.
But I haven't seen Kakashi sleep. Maybe he doesn't.

As for using transformation jutsu, no that wouldn't work.
See, if they don't know what he looks like underneath the mask, then they cant change themselves into it. all they;d do is create what they think should be there.
