Kakashi's Attitude?

Post by Jasminegreen »

Kakashi fans, don't get offended, Kakashi is my favorite character. I just wonder, do you think that Kakashi is a little arrogant, a little uppity? To me, Kakashi has always seemed like a more stable, less emo version of Sasuke. What do yu think about his attitude?

Yeah I totally agree with you. All the time you see him he's either being late coz he's been at that memorial to his dead friends or he's actually shown standing there. Oh and btw he's friends are dead for a long time now, I don't why the guy still lingers on it. Geez he doesn't have a life. And even when he's trying to comfort Naruto or Sakura, you can just see he doesn't really mean. The guy has lame problems and I don't see what's so special about him either.

Don't get me wrong, I like him. But I think he's too caught up in the past. He's so busy focusing on what he lost, and can't do anything about, instead of focusing on all the things his is lucky to have. He lost all of his previous friends, but he has new people in his life that love him. He just needs to learn to love people back. His attitude makes Obito's sacrifice for him meaningless. What good is Obito dying for him, if he is living a miserable life? So, you'd think he'd live every day to the fullest. That ties in with his students. He was focused on getting close to Sasuke, who didn't care to get close to anyone, that he threw his other students off to the side in favor of him. Now look what happened, Sasuke left him, and his other two students had to leave because he didn't do much for them, in favor of Sasuke. He went throught the trouble of teaching Sasuke a jutsu, to bond with him, and Sasuke wound up using that jutsu against Naruto, which almost killed him in the VotE.

He is a tad arrogant and calm, but that is why I like him. I like his laid back attitude and calm sense of humour. It is the way that he is like that, yet when he is fighting he is so awesome, fast and smart, that I think he is a great character.

In sessions four and five, when he is training Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, that is when he was amazing. He was shown slow and dopey, yet an awesome shinobi.

His Japanese voice-actor really brought and represented his attitude out greatly too, regarding how he portrayed his voice.

Kakashi is just laid back. Just standing there reading his porn book.

He goes on dangerous missions and can die, he might as well have a little fun along the way.

He knows what's important though.

Plus, he is really funny

That whole "Thousand Years of Pain" thing isn't sexual at all

In Japan, that is a prank the elementary school kids play on each other. It is a dumb, innocent schoolyard prank

So, he is a bit of an immature d**k. He just doesn't care.

Ninja's are supposed to mess with people.
First person to say DESU dies, second person to say DESU dies twice.......... I think you can see where I'm going with this :)

I know this is gonna sound weird but i think you have an inner hatred for Kakashi. Its true he may not appear to care for those around him or show "love" as you put it but that doesnt mean its not their.
He didnt excatly throw Naruto and Sakura to the side so that he could teach Sasuke it was just that Jiraiya was teaching Naruto because Kakashi wouldnt of known what to do if any of the tails were released (at least at the time this was all taking place). And Sakura was become Tsunade's apprentice so Sasuke was left.

And although Sasuke did use the jutsu against Naruto it didnt excatly kill any of them plus Naruto had one of his ownn so i would kinda call it a fair fight.

I don't hate Kakashi. He's my favorite character. But i'm not one of those fangirls that think their man can do no wrong, or that he's perfect. I just find Kakashi to be foolish at times.

And i too find Kakashi to be foolish at times but thats just the way he is whether he picked it up from old teams mates or not.

I don't think he's "arrogant" per say. He's just been in enough battles to be able to keep a calm head in a fight. Plus he purposely taunts his opponent to get them angered and thus distracted and frustrated, and a distracted and frustrated enemy makes mistakes.

As I have said numerous times, I don't hate Kakashi or have an inner hatred for him. I'm just brutally honest. If what i'm saying about Kakashi is harsh, then it's just harsh. But it's how I feel. If I hated Kakashi, i'd admit it. But if you don't believe me, then fine. I shouldn't have to repeatedly justify my opinion of a character when i've already made my opinion clear. Now, I admit I get carried away a bit. I do think Kakashi cares for others, just too afraid to get close. But, he gets better after Shippuden. But, when it comes to his teaching, he lets his elitest, hypocritical, and somewhat selfish, nature show.
