I recently posted the following to one of the CB "who do you like best polls:

If I were to crew on the BeBop, I'd consider putting her (Ed) in the air lock .... but just duct tape her to something instead ..... frequently.

Actually,I think Ed is autistic -- minimal verbal communication, random body movements and the ability to totaly focus on computer stuff. Anyone else have a diagnosis for Ed?

She is a happy soul, but she is also autistic, or from what i just read hyperlexic.
If you noticed she also always refers to herself in third person, a common symptom of autism.

The header states, "Do you think Ed is kinda retarded."... what does being retarded mean to you? Watching Ed using a computer and figuring stuff out says she's quite intelligent to me.

Besides... 'retarded' is an out-dated term. And not nice, either.

She is just very immature,probably had a bad past that she now pushes out of her mind by acting child like,but then a gain,I know nothing of her past and dont know if this is at all ture,just a asumption I suppose..
