Meeko is from Digimon Season 1. it's Kuroneko...
(it means "the black cat")

btw, ya, the cat's name is Kuroneko (kuro=black neko=cat *in japanese*) which i think is as much of a joke (as it appears in every episode) as it is kinda saying "black cat cross yer path, bad luck 4 uuuuuuu!"
