im inclined to agree with kenshin. when kenshin left his training he was in his teens. the wars i believe went on for about 5 years followed by 10 years of wandering and about 2 or 3 years worth of series. that makes late 20's early 30's

Kenshin is 28 or 29 (depending on how you do the math) in the series. He left his training when he was 14 to fight in the war. He fought until he was 19 and then wandered for ten years. Hiko is 43 when Kenshin reapprentices himself to him in the Kyoto Arc.
